Yes you!
It's been a fabulous 4 days since both kids have decided to forgo the 'baby food' and dive in to the adventures of tastes, textures and possibilities.
I'm not sure who has more fun, the kids eating new yummy goodness every day or me, who see's the market aisle in a whole new light, smiles as I cut up pieces of fruit or drain a can of garbanzo beans or prep the grill cheese into bite size pieces.
Love it!
Wyatt seems to love all things fruit and vegetable. Good boy!..and certainly does not take after his daddy. I remember a certain story Nana told about Jason. She had to mask broccoli into his pancakes just so he would get veggies in his diet! Wyatt loves mandarin oranges, kiwi, blueberries, raspberry (what son of mine wouldn't love raspberries!), green beans, and grill cheese. He wants to feed himself; there is no 'assisting' during his meal time. Evi loves ANYTHING: fruit, beans, fish sticks, veggies, cheese, chicken. She can't shovel it in fast enough. Her cheeks are packed full within seconds.
...and these cheeks can host a mouthful! We are down to one nap per day, right after lunch and it's usually 2.5 hours. We use nooks only for nap time and bedtime. We do not do bottles anymore; everything is in a sippy cup. Drinks include mostly whole organic milk and water which is lightly flavored with 100% juice.
When did they grow up on me???
