Hard to believe how long it has been since I've posted on this blog. It's been quite the challenge finding time for 'me time', but now the holidays are over and hopefully life can settle in to a normal pace again. Usually around October I visualize myself on a old rollercoaster just at the peak of the big drop and eye close my eyes, lift up my hands and squeal through December 31st.
Evelyn has been crawling since just shy of 7 months (yes, they are almost 9 months). She pulls herself up on anything and everything. Still no teeth.
Wyatt is pretty content watching the world pass by around him. No crawling, not even close. He does however have 4 teeth which started the night before Thanksgiving.
They are eating 'people food' along with their standard feedings. Wyatt savors his finger foods by eating one at a time. Evi however shoves as many as possible into her mouth.
Are you seeing a pattern here?
Both kids babble "mama" and "dada" and click their tongues constantly. Evi has taken a liking to playing tug-o-war with Fitzgerald. She tracks down his toys and dangles them in front of him than whips them away and giggles. In the off chance he grabs an end she hunkers down, grits her gums, closes her eyes and holds on. It is the cutest thing. Fitz is finally starting to see the benefits of these little additions to the family.
I'm looking forward to 2010;
A year of new discoveries!
